Terms of Service

By accessing or using Speqra ("the Platform"), operated by Macenta Egitim Teknolojileri ve Yayincilik A.S. ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

If you are using Speqra on behalf of an organization (school, institution, or company), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Speqra is an AI-powered language and communication practice platform that provides interactive speaking exercises, real-time feedback, progress tracking, and reporting. The Platform is available for individual learners, schools, and corporate institutions.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an individual account. Younger users may access Speqra through institutional accounts with appropriate consent

When using Speqra, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Use the Platform in a manner that could damage our reputation or goodwill

Schools, educational institutions, and corporate clients may access Speqra under institutional licensing agreements. Institutional administrators are responsible for:

• Managing user accounts within their organization
• Ensuring compliance with these terms by their users
• Obtaining necessary consents for minor users
• Using analytics and reporting data in accordance with applicable privacy laws

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, software, and AI models - are owned by or licensed to Macenta Egitim Teknolojileri ve Yayincilik A.S. and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process your voice recordings, text inputs, and other content submitted during practice sessions solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. You retain ownership of your content.

• Paid plans are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Institutional licensing terms are governed by separate agreements
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis

We strive to keep Speqra available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speqra and Macenta Egitim Teknolojileri ve Yayincilik A.S. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Speqra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will meet your specific requirements or that AI-generated feedback will be error-free. Speqra is a practice tool and does not replace professional language instruction or certification.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Speqra at any time if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of Speqra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
